In front of a big audience Irish indoor 60m champion Derek Duff from Leevale just got the better of clubmate Carl McNamara in the Market Tavern sponsored Fastest Man in Cork (60m), the shortest road race in Ireland, held at the start of the Parade. Marian Andrews from Togher was the winner of the Fastest Woman in Cork title with Kate Humphreys from Leevale in second.
