More than 200 coaches are expected to take part in an international coaching conference entitled The Winning Difference: Focus - Beijing Preparation, which will take place in Moscow from the 2nd to 4th November. The conference will be jointly organised by the All Russian Athletic Federation and the European Athletics Coaches Association (EACA) and will include the EACA’s General Meeting and elections. Confirmed conference speakers include Edwin Ozolin (RUS), Scott Drawer (GBR), Ekkart Arbeit (GER) and EACA President Frank Dick (GBR). As it has in the past, European Athletics will support the organisers and offer scholarships covering the conference fee, three night’s accommodation and meals for one delegate from each of its 50 Member Federations. The venue for the conference will be the Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism in Moscow. Visas are required to enter Russia and delegates must arrange their own visas. An official letter of invitation can be obtained from the conference organiser. Delegates should send their passport number, date of issue and date of expiry to Alexander Porkhomovski (eaca@RusAthletics.com, Tel: +7 495 743 5848, Fax: +7 495 981 8329). To benefit from the European Athletics scholarship offer, delegates should include an official email or letter from their federation stating that they are the federation’s representative to the conference.
