“The National Athletics Awards play an important role in thanking the people within the Athletics Community for their outstanding achievements and contributions to our sport. We should all be immensely proud of all the achievements athletics has made in 2021. It has been a difficult but exciting year for Irish Athletics. 2022 offers our athletes more competitive opportunities, our coaches, and officials more development opportunities and as an organisation we are continuing our hard work in bringing our strategic plan to fruition.”
John Cronin, Athletics Ireland President
