Including 2 World Class events the Mens Discus and Womens Hammer Mens Discus Hannes Hopley RSA National College Record Holder USA 67.66m and former World Junior Champion and 8th Placer at 2004 Olympics Erik Cadee NED, former European Junior Champion PB 61.78 this year Nick Petrucci USD former World Champion finalist with PB 66.35 Emeka Udechuku Eng 2006 Commonwealth 7th Placer with PB 64.93 Womens Hammer Elieen O'Keeffe, Irish National Hammer Champion PB 69.36 Susanne Keil Ger twice World finalist and 5th in 2003 PB 72.74 Andrea Bunjes Ger Olympic finalist 2004 PB 70.73 The Mens Mile include Irelands Mark Carroll and Liam Reale , plus Kenyans Laban Rotich and Wesley Cheruiyot. Liam reale won the 1,500m at a meet in Swedan last night in a time of 3:44.02 from Mustafa Mohamed of Swedan in 3:44.41. The Mens 100m has one of the fastest US 100m athletes this year, John Woods 10.16 and Chris Johnson of the USA PB this year 10.21 against Eric N'Dri Ivory Coast PB 10.17 and 2nd in Warsaw over the 100m a few days ago. The Mens 400m has 2007 South African Champion Jan van Der Merwe PB 45.73 and Polish athlete Pitor Kedzia PB 45.98 against some of Irelands finest including Brian Doyle and Brian Murphy Womens High jump includes Maresa Cadienhead Canada PB 1.95 and Tatyaana Grigoryeva Russia PB 1.96 against Irish schools Champion Pamela Hughes PB this year of 1.79m Mens Long Jump includes 2007 US Indoor champion Trevel Quinley and another 8m+ man Bashir Ramzy of the US against Irish Champion Stephen Fleming of recent PB 7.48m And many more including Geraldine Pillay of the Rsa over the 100m with PB 11.07 . for info, e mail anriocht@hotmail.com
