Athletics Ireland wishes to further develop our national relay programme panel of coaches.
In recent seasons the national relay programme has made positive progress. The 2018 season alone saw six national teams compete at major championships. Three national records were achieved by the U20 Women’s 4x100m , U20 Men’s 4x100m and Senior Women’s 4x100m. The U20 women’s 4x100m also created history in 2018, claiming a world championship silver medal, Ireland’s first global outdoor relay medal.
With the focus now on the 2019 and 2020 seasons we invite expressions of interest from coaches keen to become part of the national relay programme panel of coaches for the 4x100m and 4x400m relay events.
