Abdel Laadjel has broken Darragh McElhinney’s 5000m indoor record (U20) while representing Providence University at the Big East Meet late last night.

The Donore Harriers star clocked a stunning 14:12:73 for a 7th place finish to improve on McElhinney’s 14.13.67 from 2019.
