Combined Events International 2021

Athletics Ireland would like to wish the very best of luck to the to the ISSA Team competing this Saturday at the Emirates Arena, in Glasgow. 

Please find below details of the team and information for those travelling to the event. 

All information detailed below are in line with the current (as of 24/11/2021) regualtions, please be aware these could change up to the day before the event. 

The event has a license to go ahead under national, local and Scottish Athletics guidelines.

Teams:

Teams will enter via the outside steps after collecting packed lunch, directly onto level 3 and proceed to designated seating area.

Team Management should have accreditation visible.

MASKS MUST BE WORN WHEN MOVING AROUND OR SITTING SPECTATING. They can be removed on entry to warm up area.
Athletes & Team Management will have access to track level and the warmup area via a one-way system which will be manned.

Team Managers are expected to return to seating area when athlete is called to an event.

NO BAGS IN WARM-UP OR COMPETITION AREA

Athletes are expected to return to their seating area between events. A fresh mask will be provided after each event to allow athletes to return to seating.

At the end of the event, only athletes and Team Management will be allowed in presentation area at track level.

A box will be provided for unwanted food to pass on - no rubbish.

Spectators:

Spectators and personal coaches must enter via the outside stairs directly onto level 3. It will be open from 8.45am. 

All names and contact details have to be registered by the country concerned in advance and coaches will be issued with accreditation to allow access to the warm-up area.

Spectators will be directed to the country’s designated seating area.

Evidence may be required of your covid status, so please do bring this. (Covid-19 App or Lateral Flow)

MASKS MUST BE WORN when moving around or spectating.

Each athlete will be allowed up to 2 adults and 1 personal coach. NO CHILDREN please.
Personal Coaches should be prepared to show their UKA license to collect pass.


Only competition Officials should be stationary in the walkways.

The arena has assured us the Café will be open until 3.30pm with a limited menu. Access is down the outer stair and re-enter via main entrance. Return via outer stair. The nearest shops are  800m away.
