Power, O’Donnell and Tobin on form at Metz Indoor Track Meet

Irish athletes continued their early season form with impressive performances across a number of events at the Metz Indoor Meet in France this afternoon.

Sean Tobin clocked a superb 7:48.01 in the 3000m which was paced by St Cocas A.C. man Paul Robinson. In taking first place, Tobin secured a new indoor PB which which saw the Clonmel A.C man secure 7th on the all time indoor standings.

The Metz Meet also saw Nadia Power (Dublin City Harriers A.C.) continue with her blistering start to the season with a solid run of 2:02.96 for fifth, backing up her impressive National Record last weekend. National Champion Iseult O'Donnell (Raheny Shamrock A.C.) was also in action and set a new PB in the B race of 2:04.61.
