Paul McNamara Going For Hat Trick

The Woodie's DIY 10K Road Race takes place in Navan county Meath on Sunday. Race headquarters, where changing facilities and entries (€12 per individual) are located, are at the local Claremont Stadium on the Commons Road. The race starts at 2pm and there are medals for the first three for seniors, as well as all the masters categories. There will also be team awards. Paul McNamara has won the race for the past two years and is going for the hat trick. Two years ago he had six seconds to spare over Sandis Bratis when the race was held in Limerick, and last year he had Peter Matthews five seconds in arrears, with Bratis a further twelve seconds back over the Tinryland course. Pauline Curley won last year from Niamh O’Sullivan, while Rosemary Ryan was the victor over Pauline the previous year. A highly competitive race is once again expected
