As the count down begins towards the start of the European Cup in Finland we can reveal the final team that will spearhead Ireland's challenge to remain in Division One. A few injuries sustained over the past week has led to a few withdrawals from the original lineup but the late inclusion of National Record Holder Roisin McGettigan in the women's steeplechase is a welcome boost to the women's challenge of staying in this high high-level division. The latest analysis of the statistics indicate that Ireland will do very well if they remain in this division, such is the standard of athletes competing. Derval O'Rourke will face stiff competition from European champion Suzanna Kallur while David Gillick will face strong opposition from the Swede Johan Wissman.
