Dunleer AC will host Rás na hÉireann cross country on Sunday February 22nd 2015 at the historic Oldbridge Estate (Battle of the Boyne) course near Drogheda, thanks to the kind permission of the OPW.

"The Rás" as it is affectionately known celebrates the life of Larry Mc Guill who dedicated his life to the promotion of athletics and sadly passed away in 2011.  The Larry Mc Guill cup will be presented to the first senior man home.  Louis Duffin is also remembered for his commitment to Rás na hÉireann with the awarding of the Louis Duffin Cup for the first Dunleer man home.

Last year, Dunleer AC moved the Noel Mc Guill/Sandra Floyd event to the Rás date in order to incorporate the two events and provide a fitting tribute to the memories of Noel and Sandra also. This worked very well and will be the case again this year.

Dunleer AC looks forward to welcoming all friends and supporters of Dunleer AC, Rás na hÉireann and cross country running to Oldbridge on Sunday February 22nd, to the best cross country course in the country!  Entries will be through Precision Timing website. Information can be found on www.rasnaheireann.com and on the Dunleer AC Facebook page.
