A large turnout from 18 schools contested the 6th annual secondary schools cross-country at Finn Valley on Thursday Sept 28th. Team and individual awards were evenly distributed and the indications from the teachers is really positive. the timing is aptas it engenders an exercise programme on their return from the Summer break. Again the local organising committee did an excellent joband the athletics fraternity in the area are most grateful to the athletic teachers and those in charge who brought their squads along. Outstanding runs were returned from Noel Collins , Drumragh . Cian O Reilly , St. Pats . Cavan , and Breda Mc Ginty , St,.
