The A&L Goodbody ALG5K Corporate Team Challenge will return to Dublin City Centre tomorrow evening, Tuesday, September 8th, with the 2026 event now officially SOLD OUT.
Delivered by Athletics Ireland in partnership with title sponsor A&L Goodbody, the ALG5K will see thousands of participants swap the office for the start line for one of the highlights of Ireland’s corporate sporting calendar.
Following a sell-out event in 2025, demand has once again been exceptionally strong, with all available places for tomorrow evening’s 5K now snapped up.
David Gillick Joins Corporate Ireland on the Start Line
Fresh from interviewing the stars of Irish athletics at last month’s European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, two-time European indoor champion and Olympian David Gillick will swap the microphone for his runners tomorrow evening.
The returning ALG5K ambassador will join participants on the start line as teams from businesses and organisations across Ireland take on the Dublin City Centre course.
“There’s always a brilliant atmosphere at the ALG5K and it’s fantastic to see the event sold out again,” said Gillick.
Corporate Ireland Ready to Run
The ALG5K has become a standout fixture in the corporate calendar, bringing colleagues together through physical activity while promoting workplace wellbeing, teamwork and connection.
Teams of four will compete across male, female and mixed categories, with chip timing providing individual and team results.
Participants can expect a vibrant city-centre atmosphere, with team and individual honours up for grabs as organisations compete for ALG5K bragging rights.
The event will also once again support Depaul Ireland and Athletics Ireland Youth Development Programmes, building on the significant funds raised through the 2025 event.
Important Information for Participants
A participant information email has been issued to all registered team leads ahead of tomorrow’s event.
Team leads are asked to ensure that all participating colleagues receive and familiarise themselves with the information contained in the email, including key event-day details.
Participants are encouraged to plan their journey into Dublin City Centre in advance and to allow plenty of time to arrive, meet their team and prepare ahead of the 7.45pm start.
