The following Senior Teams will represent Ireland at the Antrim International Cross Country on Saturday January 14th and at the Celtic Cross Country International XC at Cardiff on January 22nd.

The annual Antrim IAAF International Cross Country event will incorporate the British Athletics Cross Challenge. Awarded one of only 12 IAAF World Cross Country permits the event is the highlight of the Cross Country calendar in Northern Ireland and attracts many international athletes of note.  Organised by Athletics Northern Ireland, the races will be held in the picturesque surrounds of CAFRE at Greenmount Campus in Antrim.  Athletics Ireland is delighted to be in a position to support this event with strong senior teams, despite a number of athletes being unavailable due to other racing commitments.

The 2017 Celtic Cross Country International in Cardiff will be hosted by Welsh Athletics on Sunday 22nd January, and will take place within the British Athletics Cardiff Cross Challenge, in Blackweir Fields Bute Park in the centre of Cardiff city. Again, Athletics Ireland is delighted to be in a position to support this event with strong senior teams for the 2nd time in 8 days.
