Tom Brennan Memorial 5k New Year's Day Road Race

The Tom Brennan Memorial 5K Road Race will be held on Sunday January 1st. 2006 @ 12 noon. Jointly promoted by Liffey Valley A.C. and Dublin City Harriers the race will be held on a fast lap in The Phoenix Park. Starting on The Furze Road the race will turn right on to the Ordance Survey Road before coming back down the Main Road. With two laps to be completed it should provide runners with an opportunity to begin 2006 with a fast time. There are prizes in all categories and team prizes with the Tom Brennan Trophy going to the individual winner. Last years winners Roisin McGettigan and Gary Hynes are expected to be back again this year.
