Top class competition and numbers at Combined Events

There was an excellent day of competition at the Irish Life Health Irish Schools’ Combined Events Championships takes in Athlone IT today (November 9) with good numbers taking part.

Hannah Falvey (SMGS Blarney) took down the minor girls’ title scoring 3,157 points. In the junior girls’ competition Lucy McGlynn (Colaiste Cholmcille) was a convincing winner with 3,286 points.  

Laura Frawley (St Marys SS Charleville) continues her fine schools’ career winning the intermediate girls’ event with 3,246 points with Emily O’Mahony (St Augustine’s Dungarvan) winning the senior girls’ crown with 2,810 points.

Finn O'Neill (Limavady GS) retained his minor boys’ title with 2,996 points with Adam Nolan (Scoil Chonglais Baltinglass) winning the junior boys’ title with the same points tally.

Alan Miley (St Kevin’s Dunlavin) won the intermediate boys’ with a total of 3,516 points with Cillian Griffin (Mercy Mount Hawk Tralee) coming out on top in the senior boys’ with 3,197 points.
