Athletics Ireland is delighted to announce the return of Track & Field Live for its ninth season, with six exciting evenings of indoor athletics scheduled at the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena throughout the 2026/27 season.

The hugely popular series returns on Wednesday, 2nd December 2026, bringing together juvenile, recreational and high-performance athletes for fast-paced evenings of track and field competition.

Now entering its ninth season, Track & Field Live has grown significantly in popularity, establishing itself as a firm favourite on the Irish indoor athletics calendar. With races catering for athletes of all abilities, the series offers a unique opportunity to compete in a world-class facility in an exciting and welcoming atmosphere.

From emerging juvenile talent to experienced senior athletes, Track & Field Live provides a competitive platform for everyone, with paced lighting, electronic timing, multiple race opportunities and a live DJ adding to the atmosphere.

Speaking ahead of the new season, Meet Director David Matthews said:

“We are delighted to bring the hugely successful Track & Field Live series back for the 2026/27 season. We look forward to welcoming athletes of all ages and abilities to the world-class Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena once again.

“Our first meeting takes place on 2nd December, and with the continued growth in popularity of the series, we expect places to fill up quickly. We encourage athletes to get their entries in early!”

Entries open exactly one month before each meeting, with demand expected to be high throughout the season.
