Tullamore Harriers are looking forward to their leg of the SPAR Mile Challenge on Saturday 07/07/2007 starting at 11am. Tullamore are no strangers to the mile with local athlete James Nolan running the first sub 4 mile in the county in the IMC mile race at the Irish Schools championships in recent times. The SPAR Mile Challenge is an opportunity for everyone in Offaly to get down on to the tartan and see what they can do over the blue riband distance alongside friends, family, workmates and teammates. Club stalwart Johnny Feery has led the charge in promoting this event and there isn't a gym, sports club or staff canteen in county Offaly that doesn't have a Mile Challenge poster in it by now. For more information see www.sparmilechallenge.com or visit the Offaly Athletics website. 2007_0422Image0105.jpg Action from Tullamore Harriers Stadium
