It was a somewhat of a quieter weekend for the Irish athletes competing on the US collegiate circuit with many of them focusing on the all-important NCAA Regional Championships this weekend.

Kevin Batt (Dundrum South Dublin AC/Adam State University) produced a solid performance to finish in second place at the 35th Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Championship in at time of 25.38 for the 8k course. The time left him 17 seconds behind the winner his team mate Tabor Stevens. Both athletes were part of the winning Adams State University Team.
