African Nations Dominate in Edinburgh Sara Louise Treacy recorded the highest placing of the Irish athletes at the World cross country championships in Edinburgh today, finishing mid-way in the junior race in 32nd. Fionnuala Britton never got going in the senior women's race slipping from 28th place after the first lap to finish the race in 36th. Andrew Ledwith, after a cautious start to the race, made considerable progress as the race progressed, going from 105th after a lap to finish 67th.
