Four Irish teams are competing Irish teams are competing in the World Mountain Trophy in Switzerland this Saturday. The members of the Irish teams come from 14 clubs. Michelle Finn from Duhallow is the captain of the junior women’s team which also includes Eimear Tangney who finished 2nd in the Community Games marathon. Eoin Rowan (North Sligo) leads the junior men. Edel Mooney (Lothian) captains the senior women’s team, and evergreen Robin Bryson is captain of the senior men’s team. There are 383 runners entered in the competition in the following categories: senior men (33 countries / 162 runners); senior women (29 countries / 91 runners); junior men (27 countries / 79 runners); and junior women (21 countries / 51 runners).
