The historical 123.ie Tailteann Interprovincial Games will provide another excellent spectacle of athletics in SETU Carlow tomorrow (June 24).

The four provinces will compete against each other for glory and athletes will also be vying for places on the SIAB Schools’ International.

This weekend’s showdown follows a hugely entertaining All Ireland Schools’ Championships which saw a host of impressive individual performances including a national U20 record for Adam Nolan.

Connacht boast some of the most exciting young talent in recent times, but it may be Ulster and Munster who are best placed to topple Leinster.

There will be high-quality competition on the track and the field with weather conditions expected to be favourable to boot.
