The AAI National Outdoor League Final takes place this Sunday (July 27th) at Tullamore Harriers Stadium, where all eyes will on whether any clubs can stop last year’s defending champions.
Sunday’s action is set for a 10.30am start with the premier and division 1 competitions expected to be ultra-competitive.
Clonliffe Harriers (Men) and Leevale (Women) will look to defend their premier titles, while Kilkenny City Harriers (Men) and Tir Chonaill (Women) are reigning division 1 champions.
Clonliffe impressed in qualifying for the premier men and will likely face stiff competition from DSD and Leevale, while in the premier women, Leevale can expect to be challenged for top spot by DSD and St Laurence O’Toole AC.
Rhaney are sure to push Kilkenny City Harriers men close in the D1 competition, while St Abbans look to have a strong hand in the women’s D1 final and could prove greatest threat to Tir Chonaill’s crown.
