Kate O’Connor has been shortlisted for the prestigious 2025 European Women’s Athlete of the Year award.
O’Connor’s nomination comes after a phenomenal season where she claimed:
- 🥈 Silver in the heptathlon at the World Championships
- 🥈 Silver in the pentathlon at the World Indoor Championships
- 🥉 Bronze in the pentathlon at the European Indoor Championships
- 🥇 World University Games gold medallist in heptathlon
Her consistency across major global events has made her one of the standout multi-event athletes in Europe this year – and now she’s in the running for one of the continent’s top honours.
