Mullingar Harriers Athletic Club was delighted to welcome the McCabes Pharmacy Fit for Life Roadshow to their track on Monday October 13th in partnership with Athletics Ireland.
As a club committed to making everyone welcome, Mullingar Harriers AC proudly supports the McCabes Pharmacy Fit for Life Programme, which encourages people of all ages and abilities to embrace walking and running in a fun, structured, and social environment.
The roadshow brought together nearly 90 participants at the Westmeath venue, including the McCabes Pharmacy team who provided valuable health checks, wellness advice, and practical guidance. For Mullingar Harriers AC members in attendance, the event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow ‘Fit for Lifers’ and reinforce their commitment to lifelong fitness. The evening’s training was led by Fit for Life Coach Michael O’Sullivan and his team who put the group through a hugely enjoyable session that catered for all levels of ability.
The McCabes Pharmacy Fit for Life Programme will continue with monthly roadshows across Ireland, offering expert-led health resources and tailored support. Mullingar Harriers and Athletic Club was formed on 1 December 1975 when 18 people gathered at a meeting in St Mary’s CBS.
