Thurles Crokes AC was delighted to welcome the McCabes Pharmacy Fit for Life Roadshow for a club training session on their grounds on Tuesday February 17th in partnership with Athletics Ireland.
Founded in 1965, Thurles Crokes AC is committed to welcoming all abilities and proudly supports the McCabes Pharmacy Fit for Life Programme which encourages participants to embrace walking and running in a fun, structured, and social environment.
The roadshow brought together nearly 40 participants who braved the wet conditions at the Tipperary venue, including the McCabes Pharmacy team who provided valuable health checks, wellness advice, and practical guidance. For the Thurles Crokes AC members in attendance, the event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow ‘Fit for Lifers’ and reinforce their commitment to lifelong fitness. The evening’s training was led by expert coaches who put the group through a hugely enjoyable session that catered for both walkers and joggers on their floodlit grass training ground, as well as those seeking some higher intensity speed-work on the hills surrounding the venue.
The McCabes Pharmacy Fit for Life Programme will continue with monthly roadshows across Ireland, offering expert-led health resources and tailored support.
