West Waterford Athletic Club was proud to welcome the McCabes Pharmacy Fit for Life Roadshow to Dungarvan on Tuesday, July 22nd, in partnership with Athletics Ireland. The event took place at the scenic grounds of St. Augustine’s College and drew nearly 80 enthusiastic participants from across the region.
The McCabes Pharmacy Fit for Life initiative, run by West Waterford AC, is dedicated to promoting health and wellbeing through walking and running in a fun, inclusive, and social setting. The club’s own Fit for Life group meets regularly along the Dungarvan Greenway, making the most of one of the area’s finest amenities to encourage an active lifestyle for all abilities.
The roadshow offered attendees a unique blend of fitness and wellness, with the McCabes Pharmacy team on hand to provide free health checks, expert advice, and practical tips for healthy living. For West Waterford AC members, the event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow Fit for Lifers, share experiences, and reaffirm their commitment to lifelong fitness.
The McCabes Pharmacy Fit for Life Programme will continue with monthly roadshows across Ireland, offering expert-led health resources and tailored support.
