Mullingar Harriers are celebrating their golden anniversary on December 1.
The midlands-based club was founded when a gathering of eighteen people met at St Mary’s CBS in Mullingar, and the club is marking this anniversary with the release of a book that documents its history, from its founding to the present day.
The book includes stories and reflections from past and current members, highlighting key events and developments in athletics in Mullingar and beyond. It also features a photo gallery that captures moments from across the decades.
The official launch will take place on Wednesday, 24 September at Bloomfield House Hotel, where members—old and new—will gather to celebrate the club’s 50-year journey. The book, covering the years 1975 to 2025, is available for pre-order on the club’s website. HERE
