Gary Ryan's record is blown away Paul Hession (Athenry) has been in tremendous form for the past couple of weeks. In Bratislava on Sunday he clocked 6.74, just one hundredth of a second off Gary Ryan’s Irish record. Tonight in Vienna he won his heat of the 60m in a time of 6.70, and then took his place on the start line in top class company for the final. Running the best race of his life he crossed the line in third place, smashing Gary Ryan’s Irish record with a brilliant 6.66 clocking. Well done Paul. 60m Final 1. Gardener Jason GBR 6,62 2.
