Sanctuary Runners
We believe in an Ireland where EVERYONE is cherished and heard no matter your nationality, legal status or skin colour. We use running, jogging and walking to bring people together in solidarity, friendship and respect.
You can help us to continue our work in 2026 by supporting our 12ks of Christmas campaign.
From December 9–20, you can get involved in many ways — run, walk, jog, roll, donate, or gift a donation to a loved one (and download a gift certificate) — to support community connection across Ireland.
Lace up, show up, or support however you can, every contribution helps bring people together.
If you are looking for a way to show your solidarity with all members of our community and also stay active, the 12Ks is the campaign for you!
We never ask our participants to pay a membership fee or to pay for t-shirts.
We will continue to be as inclusive as possible and welcome everyone to our groups. That’s where this fundraising campaign comes in. All funds raised will be used to support Sanctuary Runner groups across Ireland and enable us to create new groups, covering essential costs such as:
- Our funky blue running tops
- Bus hire and transport
- Race entries
- Group engagement and meetups
- and so much more…
The idea is simple: you sign up for free and from the 9th December aim to complete at least 1Km of any activity for 12 days (the 12 Ks!). The campaign is being hosted through Eventmaster and you will be able to set up your own fundraising page or take part as a team. If exercise isn’t your thing, there is also an option to make a donation or give the donation as a gift and download a gift certificate! Please see here for a link to the campaign page.
