It has been a year of many delightful primary schools visits, promoting The Daily Mile, writes Frank Greally.

We had a special week in June on the road with Ray D’Arcy, visiting schools in Cork, Waterford, Kilkenny, Meath and Swords.

We also had a lovely schools gathering in October at Iveagh Grounds, as well as one in Cork at the Rob Heffernan Mile promotion.

The Daily Mile will have one final promotion this year, when children from four primary schools will gather for a Christmas Celebration at the National Indoor Arena on Friday, December 5th.
