Nicola Tuthill (UCD AC) produced a personal best hammer performance to break her Irish U23 record at last week’s Irish Universities T&F Championships held at the new DSD complex. Tuthill had already set a personal best this season, posting a 64.44m at the European Throwing Cup back in March, before smashing that best with a throw of 65.74m at the IUAA meet (Apr 22nd).

The performance moves Tuthill to second on the Irish all-time list behind Eileen O’Keeffe’s 73.21m (2007).
