Top class Coaching Network announced

Athletics Ireland is pleased to announce the details for the first Sprints, Hurdles and Jumps coaching conference on Saturday 16th April at Athlone IT.

The conference will be a mixture of theory and practical sessions. The main focus will be on developing and improving on the technical aspects of sprinting, hurdling, long jumping and high jumping.

If you are a club coach, development coach or a performance coach then this event has something to offer you. Top coaches nowadays recognise they are on a continuous journey of learning. This will hopefully be the first of many learning opportunities of this nature. Allowing coaches to develop, and also to network with other coaches and help build a better support structure for their own training group.

By utilising some Irelands best ever long and high jumpers, and also bringing in a wealth of knowledge from across the water, we are delighted with the calibre of speaker delivering at this event.

Coaches can now register at the online link below for the low cost of €30. Registration for this event will close on Sunday April 10th at midnight (or when the registration limit is reached) and places are limited to 80 coaches only. We advise all coaches to register quickly as we expect the event to sell out fast and a waiting list will apply after this time.

Many coaches will be staying the night before the event at the Creggan Court Hotel in Athlone located next to the college and this may provide coaches with a further opportunity to network with each other.
