Virtual Irish Runner Events

Athletics Ireland is delighted to announce the first ever virtual editions of the Irish Runner 5k, Irish Runner 5 Mile, and Irish Runner 10 Mile. It will be FREE to enter each event, with the option to purchase a t-shirt and medal should you choose to.

Everyone entering these events must adhere to the latest social distancing guidelines.

Participant will be required to submit their time via a new online portal, which will inturn generate a live leader board.

Times may only be submitted once, and only during the dates listed below:

• Virtual Irish Runner 5K June 8th - June 14th
• Virtual Irish Runner 5 Mile June 29th - July 5th
• Virtual Irish Runner 10 Mile August 24th - August 30th
