Sprinter Phil Healy has set a new Irish 200m indoor record in victory at the AIT International Grand Prix.
The Cork woman's time of 23.10 seconds was the fastest run by a European athlete this season, and broke Ciara Sheehy's 2003 mark by .07.
Healy finished .61 of a second ahead of Germany's Jessica-Bianca Wessolly as she set her third Irish sprint record in just over a year and a half, all three coming on home soil.
World 1500m finalist Ciara Mageean ran a PB when taking victory in the unfamiliar distance of 3,000 metres in 8'48.28.
That was five and a half seconds off the mark set by Mary Cullen in 2009 and takes Mageean to number three on the Irish all-time list indoors.
In his first race of the year, Thomas Barr also ran a PB when taking third in the 400m. His time of 46.44 seconds was .3 of a second faster than his previous best on the flat.
He was less than .3 of a second off the winner, European Indoor bronze medallist Tony Van Diepen of the Netherlands and almost closed down second placed Pavel Maslak, the three time world Indoor Champion.
Ethiopia's Samuel Tefera was targeting the world indoor mile record in the final race of the night but his finishing time of 3'55.9 was eight seconds off the record set by his compatriot Yomif Kejelcha last year.
Brian Fay (21) was second in 4:00.77, narrowly missing out on becoming the 22nd Irishman to break the four-minute barrier indoors.
