Level 2 Coaching Course Athlone IT


A Level 2 Coaching course will take place in Athlone IT over the next few months. This is a further opportunity for coaches to up-skill and network with their peers. The course will involve a combination of theory and practical coaching. Participants will be encouraged to discuss the material and everyone will have the opportunity to deliver presentations. The course will be offered in four streams and coaches selects their desired discipline. These include:

  • Sprints and hurdles
  • Middle distance, endurance and walks
  • Throws
  • Jumps

The proposed dates are as follows:

  • October 13th / 14th
  • November 17th / 18th
  • December 1st / 2nd  

The course will run from 9am to 5pm on each of these days.  This course is open to coaches who are actively coaching and hold a Level 1 coaching qualification for at least a year.
