Anglo Celtic Plate 2020

Anglo Celtic Plate 100Km Home International, Boddington, Gloucester, England - Sunday 16th May 2020.

A very strong team will be competiting in both the women’s and men’s race with the men’s team including the Irish 100K record holder and previous winner of the ACP, Keith Whyte.  Keith has shown a return to form with convincing win at the 2019 Longford Ultra.  Also on the team is John Byrne from mayo AC, John has a 100k PB of 7:09.33 and has represented Ireland at three 100K World Championships.  The men’s teams also include a number of other International athletes including Aidan Hogan, Alex O’Shea and Padraig Mullins who were part of the men’s team that competed in the 24hr World Championships 2019.   Other team members have experience at track and road ultra

In the women’s race we have Aoife Mundow from Drogheda & District AC.  Aoife has gone from strength to strength since first transitioning to Ultra Running and most recently she set a new Irish 24hr record by running a distance of 231.376Km in Athens earlier this month.  She also won the 200Km Kerry Way Ultra and the 127k Wicklow Way race with a new record time of 16:06.30.    The other team members have a wealth of experience and as a Team are confident of putting in a good performance.
