National 1500m champion Paul Robinson (St.Cocas A.C.) continued his impressive indoor form with a PB of 3:39.36 to finish fifth in high class field at the Val de Reuil Meet.

Andrew Coscoran (Star of the Sea A.C.) finished 10th in 3:41.62 which comes on the back of his personal best performance of 3:37.20 (1500m) at the World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold meet in France last week.

Michelle Finn, Leevale AC, ran a 4:15.23 PB to win the women's 1500m at the Meeting de l'Eure, in Normandy, France(Feb 14th).  Michelle ran solo for much of the race and came home 10 seconds ahead of Frenchwoman Flavie Renouard.

Also in action at the French venue was Togher AC's Liam Harris who ran 3:56.31 behind eventual winner Brian Fay, who ran a 3:41.73 PB (1500m), followed by Luke McCann, in 3:42.03.

Siofra Clerigh-Buttner (Dundrum South Dublin A.C.) continued the fine form of the Irish middle-distance athletes with an impressive 4:09:67 PB in a high class 1500m field at the World Indoor Tour in Boston on Saturday February 13th.

The stunning performance places her second on the Irish All-Time 1500m Indoor listings.

Nadia Power continues her blistering start to 2021 with a first-place finish (2:02:83) at the IFAM Gent Indoor meeting in Belgium.

The first place finish comes on the back of a number recent impressive performances including a new 2:02.44 (800M) national record in Vienna on January 30th. Claire Mooney (Naas A.C) was back in competitive action and finished 6th in 2:06.79.

In the 400m division, Sharlene Mawdsley clocked a time of 54.86 to cross the line in 8th, while Luke Lennon-Ford (irl) clocked 48.48 at the IFAM Gent Indoor Meet.

National 800M Champion Iseult O'Donnell (Raheny Shamrock) was also top of the podium as she went on to win the Val d'Oise 800m in 2:03.27 which ranks her second among the Irish 800m athletes this season.

In Manchester, a host of Irish athletes competed at the Bryggen Sports Invitational.

The 800m division looks particularly strong at present with Louise Shanahan (Leevale A.C.) running 2:03.52, and Katie Kirk also impressing in 2:04.49 yesterday. Ciara Mageean finished in 4th place with a time of 2.04.40.

Also in Manchester, Amy O’Donohue competed in the 1500m and ran a new personal best taking four seconds off her Indoor PB of  4.14.54. Georgie Hartigan crossed over in fifth with a time of 2.04.44.

 Jack O'Leary posted a  7:58.34 in the 3000m at the Manchester Meet, while Chris O'Donnell clocked 47.67 in the 400m.

Leon Reid had a solid season opener with a 6.67 (60m) for the 200m specialist in Loughborough.
