Message from the Chair of Juvenile Committee

5 August 2021

You're viewing an article from our old website. While we've made efforts to retain all news from past Athletics Ireland websites, this article was created based on the old site's capabilities, so there may be formatting or layout issues on this page.

While we all are looking forward to welcoming our athletes back to Tullamore for the All-Ireland Age Group Championships over the next three weekends, we must be cognisant of the threat still posed by Covid 19.

These championships will be hosted under strict health and safety guidelines, and we ask for your co-operation in ensuring these guidelines are adhered to across all competition days.

The timetable of events has been planned in such a way to keep the total numbers of athletes, parents, officials, and staff within the permitted totals.

Unfortunately, this means that we cannot accommodate any extra people on site.

Access will be strictly kept to one parent/guardian for one athlete.

We understand that this is disappointing for those of you who give so much to our sport, but we ask you please abide by the guidelines so we can ensure a safe and compliant event.

Thank you for your co-operation and we look forward to seeing all our young athletes take to the National stage once again.
