Martin Fagan finished 11th in the 10000m tonight in a time of 28:54.04 Deirdre Ryan has qualified for the High Jump final and also equalled her national record with a first time clearance of 1.92m. The final will take place on Friday the 11th at 5:30pm. David Gillick has finished 7th in his semi-final in a time of 46:84. Unfortunately with only the top 4 from each semi qualifying this means that he will not progress to the final. Anna Boyle has finished 5th in her 100m heat this morning in a time of 11.60. With only 3 qualifying automatically Anna's time unfortunately means that she will not progress any further. She finished 21st overall. It appears that Emily Maher will not contest the 100m today. Joanne Cuddihy finished second in her heat in a time of 51:41 allowing her to automatically qualify for the semi-finals which will be held tomorrow (Wednesday the 9th) at 6:05pm. Joanne had the 5th fastest qualifying time today. Photos courtesy of Tim O'Dowd of the IrishRunner.comJoanne CuddihyAnna Boyle
