Additions to the Irish Team for Euro Cross
Athletics Ireland has named three more athletes on the Irish team for the 21st SPAR European Cross Country Championships which takes place in Samokov, Bulgaria on Sunday December 14th bringing the total team to 36.
Isabel Carron (Skerries AC) who won the Junior race in the Athletics Ireland Autumn open has been added to women’s junior team after received a clean bill of health following a chest infection. The selectors took the opportunity to also invite Sarah Fitzpatrick (DSD AC) to compete allowing for a full squad of six with four to score.
