Leinster Development and Performance Squads – Day 3 January 7th

Day 3 of the Leinster Development and Performance Squads will be held in AIT Arena, Athlone on 7th of January 2017.  The Development Squad will commence at 2pm and the Performance Squad at 4pm. Athletes can register in the Arena on arrival.

All athletes over 12 years are welcome on the Development Squad. This is a great opportunity for athletes to get some training done in Athlone ahead of the Indoor Championships. Please encourage your athletes to come along.

Pole Vault will be added to the remaining two dates. This is open to anyone who wishes to learn how to Pole Vault as a beginner. The session will run alongside the Development Squad from 2-4pm.

The Development Squad takes place each day and is open to all athletes aged 12 years +. The squad will cost €5 per athlete each day. Events covered on the Development Squad are as follows:

Jan 7th 2017          2pm-4pm          Sprints, Middle Distance, Shot, Long Jump, PoleVault

April 22nd 2017    11am-1pm        Hurdles, Middle Distance, Javelin, High Jump, Pole Vault

The Performance Squad is for selected athletes only from the U16 to U19 age groups. A list of those athletes selected for the Performance squad is available HERE.

Online registration for the Performance Squad is now closed. For those athletes who have not registered yet they can do so on Day 3 in Athlone.
