Athletics Ireland support the Period Positive Movement!

Athletics Ireland announce partnership with FabLittleBags in support of the Period Positive Movement!

Athletics Ireland have committed to ensuring that Athletics Ireland owned mass participation events have free accessible period products and FabLittleBag on hand so participants can always easily and confidently manage their period needs.

Speaking at the announcement, Athletics Ireland’s Director of Participation Rachel Ormrod said: “Athletics Ireland is delighted to be working in partnership with Fab Little Bag in support of their Period Positive Movement.  As first step, in our partnership, we are committed to ensuring that our mass participation events are Period Positive with the provision free period products and FabLittleBags in case any of our participants get ‘caught short’.  This provision is a relatively small but very important gesture to ensure that women and girls have access to these products if, and when needed.”
