Connacht Development & Performance Squads

Athletics Ireland is delighted to announce the details of the upcoming Connacht Academy Squads for 2022/2023. The squads are a great way of developing athletes across the juvenile age groups within the province. Congratulations to those athletes selected for the Performance squad. 

Attached is the list of selected athletes who are eligible for the Performance squad as they either came top 3 in Connacht indoor or outdoor championships or top 8 at the National indoor or outdoor championships. The endurance squad will be run separately from the main Connacht Squad this year.

Below are the Eventmaster registration links for people to sign up. Development will sign up for each individual session (€6 per session) whereas Performance will sign up once (€35 for four sessions). 

**Reminder, the Development squad is for any Connacht athlete from u12 to u15 (2023 age groups). The Performance squad is for selected u16 to u19 (2023 age groups) athletes only. See attached list.**

Day 1: Saturday 10th September - Dangan Development 10:30am - 12:00pm & Performance 12:30pm - 2:00pm

Day 2: Saturday 8th October - Dangan Development 10:30am - 12:00pm & Performance 12:30pm - 2:00pm

Day 3: Saturday 12th November - TUS Athlone Development 10:30am - 12:00pm & Performance 12:30pm - 2:00pm TBC

Day 4: Saturday 10th December - TUS Athlone Development 10:30am - 12:00pm & Performance 12:30pm - 2:00pm TBC
